Frequently asked questions
Answers about workflow, pricing, files, and delivery so you can decide quickly.
Do I need to sign up to get a quote or sample?
No. You can request a sample and quote without creating an account. To get started, submit a scrape inquiry.
If you’re happy with the sample output and pricing, then we’ll ask you to sign up to place the full order.
Do I need to use any tools or APIs?
No. You don’t need to install anything or learn an API. Just send the websites and the data fields you need, and we’ll handle the extraction and deliver the files.
How long does website scraping take?
It depends on complexity and volume. Most one-time scraping requests are typically delivered in about 1-4 business days. More complex targets (large catalogs, dynamic, JS-heavy flows) can take longer. After reviewing your target website(s) and required fields, we’ll confirm a clear timeline.
Do you support JS-heavy sites, pagination, and button-click flows?
Yes, in many cases. We can handle dynamic, JavaScript-heavy websites, pagination, and multi-step navigation or button-click flows. Feasibility still depends on the specific target website and access constraints, so we confirm scope during evaluation.
What formats do you support?
CSV, Excel (XLSX), JSON, and Google Sheets are common. If you have a template, we can match your columns.
Do you provide the scraper/code as well?
No - we provide the cleaned dataset as the deliverable. If you need a repeatable pipeline or a custom integration, tell us and we’ll discuss options.
How does pricing work?
Every website is different, so we price based on complexity, volume, and frequency. After you share the target URLs and the fields you need, we reply with a fixed quote and a sample output.
What billing details do you need for the invoice?
For invoicing, we need your legal name or company name and billing address (and a tax ID if you want it included).
Do you offer discounts if I need multiple websites scraped?
Yes. When multiple websites need similar data, additional websites are often cheaper to scrape.
How is the data delivered?
The default delivery method is dashboard download, or download links sent by email. If requested, we can also deliver via email attachments or a secure private link/folder.
How do recurring plans cancel?
You can cancel a recurring plan by email before the next billing date. If you cancel in time, we stop future runs and do not issue the next billing cycle invoice.
What happens if a target website breaks or blocks access?
If a target website becomes unavailable, we do not charge for missing result files. For single-target recurring plans, we may stop the plan until access is restored. For multi-target plans, we may continue with available targets and adjust pricing to reflect missing files.
What if the website changes its layout?
For recurring projects, websites sometimes change. If that happens, we’ll adjust the extraction and confirm any impact on delivery schedule or pricing.
How long do you store scraped data, and how long are files available for re-download?
By default, we keep delivered project files for 180 days, and re-download access is available during that period. After 180 days, files may be removed from our storage. If you need immediate deletion, tell us and we’ll honor your request. If you need longer retention, tell us and we can arrange it.
Is web scraping legal?
Web scraping is not automatically legal or illegal. Whether it is permitted depends on the data requested, the source website, the applicable jurisdiction, and how the data will be used. You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right and authorization to request scraping and to use the extracted data in compliance with applicable laws and third-party terms. We do not provide legal advice.
